Silver Travel - Email Newsletter

Dear Silver Travellers

Dare I mention wetsuits and flippers? We’ve certainly got wellies ready at Silver Towers and all manner of water-proof gear. In the words of the great walker, Alfred Wainwright, ‘There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing’. We have lots of ideas for getting away in this newsletter, with or without your galoshes and sou’wester!

We were saddened to hear of the closure of Thomas Cook recently, and we know that all our travel industry colleagues are working hard to help customers however they can. We strongly recommend anyone who has a holiday booked with Thomas Cook, or through one of their travel agents with a different tour operator, go to the ABTA website for the latest information.

Recently we’ve been working hard to ensure our accessibility and assistance information is up to date, and we’re delighted to announce that Traveleyes have joined us as a partner. A fantastic company, started by blind entrepreneur, Amar Latif, which pairs sighted travellers (who enjoy up to 50% discount) with those who are visually impaired, to share their eyes on the world during the holiday.
